General terms and conditions (AGB)

For passenger transport under § 17 (3) of the German Passenger Transport Act (PBefG) and coach hire via the online booking portal. As of 24 July 2026.
The same document is attached to every payment confirmation. In the event of any discrepancy, the German text published on this page applies — it is the version confirmed during booking.
1. Scope
These general terms and conditions apply to all contracts for the hire of coaches and the provision of passenger transport concluded through the online booking portal of Omnibusunternehmen Mikanovic. This includes coach hire, day trips, multi-day trips, school trips, club outings, corporate excursions, airport transfers and other individually agreed transport services. By completing the online booking the customer accepts these terms.

3. Conclusion of contract
The presentation of our services on the portal does not constitute a binding offer. The transport contract is concluded only once the customer has fully completed the booking, the payment has been made successfully, and the customer has received a booking confirmation by e-mail.
4. Prices and payment
The prices published at the time of booking apply. Payment is made exclusively online — by card through the payment provider myPOS, or via PayPal. The full fare is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract.
5. Scope of services
The scope of services follows exclusively from the booking confirmation. Changes to the route or travel times due to traffic conditions, road closures, weather or official orders are reserved.
6. Changes to the booking
Changes to the date, time, departure point, destination or number of participants require the company's consent. There is no entitlement to changes.
7. Cancellation by the customer
Cancellations must be made in writing or through the booking portal. The following cancellation fees apply:
- up to 30 days before departure: free of charge
- 29 to 14 days before departure: 30 %
- 13 to 7 days before departure: 75 %
- 6 to 2 days before departure: 90 %
- less than 48 hours before departure or no-show: 100 %
The customer reserves the right to prove that the company incurred no loss, or a lower loss than the fee charged.
8. Cancellation by the company
The company is entitled to terminate or withdraw from the contract in the event of force majeure, official orders preventing performance, danger to the safety of passengers or crew, false information given when booking, or where performance becomes impossible for reasons outside the company's control. Payments already made are refunded in these cases. Further claims for damages exist only within the scope of statutory provisions.
9. Delays and replacement vehicles
The stated travel times are non-binding scheduled times. Delays may arise in particular from traffic volume, roadworks, accidents, weather, border controls or official measures. Should a vehicle fail due to a technical defect or breakdown, the company is entitled to deploy an equivalent or comparable replacement vehicle or coach operator. There is no entitlement to a particular operator, vehicle model or specific equipment.
9.1. Catering in the event of a breakdown
While waiting for a replacement vehicle there is no entitlement to reimbursement of catering, hotel, taxi or other consequential costs, unless mandatory statutory provisions require otherwise.
10. Place of jurisdiction and performance
The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is, as far as legally permissible, the Amtsgericht Offenbach am Main. The place of performance for all obligations under this contract is Offenbach am Main.
